(2/18/2024) With beautiful weather, the 20th Annual Parade of Homes fundraiser for Reach Out Morongo Basin raised almost $3000 for the Neighbors Helping Neighbors organizations services for seniors and the disabled.
With this year’s three homes, one each in Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree and Twentynine Palms, parade goers had plenty of time to fully engage with the owners and enjoy delving into the differences in their visions. The diversity of the homes represents the unique lifestyle here in the Morongo Basin and showcases the eclectic nature of our desert home.
As the longest running fundraiser for Reach Out Morongo Basin all proceeds from the tour go to fund programs such as transportation to doctors’ appointments and shopping, pickup and delivery of prescriptions, minor home repair and yard work assistance for seniors and the disable.
